But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27 (KJV)
When writing this my hope is that if you find yourself identifying with any of the following statements that you will not find condemnation because as Romans 8:1 states there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. But instead you will stand in your authority to kick those thoughts and find freedom. Also I want to point out that you are doing this in your own freewill and power and all liability is released from In Glory and all of its ministers and all glory goes to God. With that being said lets look in to what deliverance is and if you need it.
Deliverance is simply the process of closing doors that may have been opened to the demonic in the past through willful sins, sins committed knowingly or unknowingly and through no fault of your own weather it is from generational situations or unfortunate situations and kicking any demons that are there out!
Before we proceed lets deal with some lies and truth about this topic. Lie: I am a Christian and I can’t have demons. Truth: Your Spirit is saved and your soul is working out it’s salvation. The story in Mark shows us that believers can have demons. (Scripture reference: 1 Thes 5:23, Mark 7:24-30) Lie:I can’t do this I need someone more qualified. Truth: Are you a believer in Jesus and a follower of the Word? Then Luke 10:19 applies to you “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing by any means will harm you.” Also it is written: And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons. Mark 16. Lie: There is no such thing as demons. Truth: stop reading this, grab your Bible and look up Acts 5:12-16, Mark 9:25, Luke 9:42, Matthew 17: 15-18, Judges 9:23, Mark 5:1-5, Mark 5:15, Luke 4:38-39, 1 Kings 22:22.
Ok, we’ve dealt with some of lies now let’s see if there is any need for deliverance. Again, no condemnation, let’s just find freedom! These are some clues of demonic activity. Nightmares, strange things happening around the house, hearing voices, obsessing about sin, self-cutting or self punishment, unforgiveness, obsessive hatred, thoughts of murder, violence towards animals or people, thoughts of suicide, depression, uncontrollable rage, panic attacks, tormenting thoughts, not being able to read the Bible without feeling angry or disturbed, seeing dark shapes, physical encounters with sexual demons, feelings of suffocation, sudden inability to move, blackouts, constant guilt even after repentance, thoughts that curse God. Now am I saying that if you have any of these situations that it absolutely is a demon? No, however, I have seen people that oppressed that were not aware of it until that demon was cast out.
So lets check do you have any open doors or access points? Have you had sex outside of marriage? Had any occult activity such as Satanic rituals, wicca, palm reading, eight ball (yes, the toy. It is a tool of divination.) Mind reading, psychic healings, automatic writing, yoga, tracnscendental meditation, black magic, new age beliefs, astrology, tarot cards, kabala, reiki healing, spirit guides, drug abuse, white magic, hypnotism, astral projection, fortune telling, ouija board, guided imagery, blood pacts, or Idol worship? How about any harbored unforgiveness?
All of these can be open doors. So what do we do now? First it is important to examine yourself and be honest, are there sins that you are hiding or that you are not willing to give up, such as sex outside of marriage? If there is a yes then I am not sure that you want to be free. Take time and pray and talk to God. Talk to Him about your sin, confess it and let Him lead you further.
After your self examination, Repent. Sample Prayer: I repent of ______; I turn away from it. Lord Jesus please forgive me, I receive your forgiveness and please deliver me from any spirits that have attached to me because of my former sin. In the name of Jesus I command any spirits contrary to the Holy Spirit to leave me now.
Dealing with unforgiveness. Take time and ask Holy Spirit to help you, be honest and ask if there is anyone that you need to forgive. Please do not forget what Jesus said if we refuse to forgive, we would not be forgiven. If we are not forgiven the devil has “legal” rights to torment us. I know it can be hard to forgive someone. But think about all of the things that you have been forgiven of and then try to forgive. If you are still not able to forgive then simply bring the situation to the Lord. Tell Him all about it and ask Him to help you forgive every one. Tell Him that you want to forgive but you are unable to and ask Him to help you and to help you release all offense to Him.
After you have repented and dealt with unforgiveness then use your authority given to you in Luke 10:19 and the keys given to you in Matthew 18:18. Sample prayer: Lord Jesus I thank you for your word, and I thank you that I am forgiven from all of my sins. I thank you that I belong to you now and no longer do I serve the enemy or any powers of darkness. I am free from the power of sin and death and free from all curses because of your sacrifice in my place. I accept your sacrifice and therefore I am free. I bind any and all spirits that are attached to me, speak to me, oppress me or have any assignment against me and command you loose me now and to go to the abyss, In Jesus name. Lord I ask that You fill me with your Holy Spirit and to help me obey You and Your Word. I choose to do your will and live the life that You have planned for me, with Your help. I praise You and thank You Lord.
Now walking out your deliverance is all that is left. Making Jesus Lord of your life is important. After Deliverance, we must live our lives differently. We will have warfare, but this is where we take every thought captive and submit it to the obedience of Christ. 2 Cor 10:5. Warfare begins in the mind. Rebuke thoughts, I often do this out loud. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Resist old patterns of sinful thoughts and behaviors. Sometimes you need to change your environment and friends. If you do mess up, don’t stay stuck. Confess your sins, God is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness (1 john 1:9). The most important thing is to get in your WORD, it is your weapon!!
I am not going to do all of the homework for you. So I am going to give you some amazing scriptures to look up and study. Know your authority, know your Identity and live a full abundant life! God bless you!

Father’s Love Letter
An Intimate Message From God To You
You may not know me,
but I know everything about you.
I know when you sit down and when you rise up.
I am familiar with all your ways.
Even the very hairs on your head are numbered.
For you were made in my image.
In me you live and move and have your being.
For you are my offspring.
I knew you even before you were conceived.
I chose you when I planned creation.
You were not a mistake,
for all your days are written in my book.
I determined the exact time of your birth
and where you would live.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
I knit you together in your mother’s womb.
And brought you forth on the day you were born.
I have been misrepresented
by those who don’t know me.
I am not distant and angry,
but am the complete expression of love.
1 John 4:16
And it is my desire to lavish my love on you.
1 John 3:1
Simply because you are my child
and I am your Father.
1 John 3:1
I offer you more than your earthly father ever could.
For I am the perfect father.
Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand.
For I am your provider and I meet all your needs.
My plan for your future has always been filled with hope.
Because I love you with an everlasting love.
My thoughts toward you are countless
as the sand on the seashore.
And I rejoice over you with singing.
I will never stop doing good to you.
For you are my treasured possession.
I desire to establish you
with all my heart and all my soul.
And I want to show you great and marvelous things.
If you seek me with all your heart,
you will find me.
Delight in me and I will give you
the desires of your heart.
For it is I who gave you those desires.
I am able to do more for you
than you could possibly imagine.
For I am your greatest encourager.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
I am also the Father who comforts you
in all your troubles.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
When you are brokenhearted,
I am close to you.
As a shepherd carries a lamb,
I have carried you close to my heart.
One day I will wipe away
every tear from your eyes.
And I’ll take away all the pain
you have suffered on this earth.
I am your Father, and I love you
even as I love my son, Jesus.
For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed.
He is the exact representation of my being.
He came to demonstrate that I am for you,
not against you.
And to tell you that I am not counting your sins.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19
Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19
His death was the ultimate expression
of my love for you.
1 John 4:10
I gave up everything I loved
that I might gain your love.
If you receive the gift of my son Jesus,
you receive me.
1 John 2:23
And nothing will ever separate you
from my love again.
Come home and I’ll throw the biggest party
heaven has ever seen.
I have always been Father,
and will always be Father.
My question is…
Will you be my child?
I am waiting for you.
Love, Your Dad
Have you ever heard the story of the prodigal son also known as the lost son? This story is a great example of two sons who both struggled with knowing who they where as sons. One, who we hear a lot of sermons about was the prodigal son. Who left home took his inheritance and spent it on wild living only to lose it all and find himself working in a pig farm dishing out slop. He was homeless, broken,& disillusioned until he realized that even the servants of his fathers house lived better than him and went home. As he approached his home. His father saw him a far off and ran to met him with joy, gave him a robe, a ring and then had a party declaring his son who was lost is home again.
The other brother who stayed home seeing all this became angry and jealous saying to his father, “I have been here all along and never received a party.” The father scolded him saying that everything he had was already his but they must rejoice because his brother who was lost and is now found.
Both sons had a laps in judgement and struggled to discover who they really were as men. One lead a wild life style and the other was self righteous. As I look at this story it reminds me of two types of believers. The one who left God to find out how much they needed him and the other who have been raised in the church culture but never discovered the real love of God.
In Romans 8:14,15 calls though’s who are led by the spirit are Sons of God. We as a church, in the United States, are in a crisis. In the sense that we are over “churched”. We know the stories, we celebrate the holidays, attend the meetings on Sunday and the midweek service. We try to live a good life and even tithe, but have lost the true identity of the Church. Which is to be a true reflection of Christ. It’s like someone stole our credit card, hacked our accounts, and depleted all our resources. We fail to tap in to the very nature of Christ. We accept Him in a prayer as Lord, but don’t give Him full authority in our life. We believe that He heals, but doubt He can do it in our life. We question ourselves and God when challenges arise in our life. God is like the father scolding us saying everything I have is yours. While, Christ is screaming I gave my life so you can live yours to the fullest!
In John 14, Christ says, “A little while longer and the world will see me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.”
He is saying I am alive! I am here! I am living! You have full access to my very nature! Not only are you to accept what I have done but you are to become who I am, because I live in you. I will even go as far to say, you can call yourself Christ because Christ means sent one. His sent one anointing is in you screaming for you to let Him out to have full authority in your life. John 16:7, “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.“
Christ had no limits. He walked on water, healed the sick, cast out demons, and He said in His Word, greater things will you do in My Name because I leave to go with the Father (John 14:12). We are connected in the spirit, but we need to put God as Lord over everything in our life and expect Him to move. John 15:3 -4 says, ” You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As a branch can not bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.” When people get around us they should feel the presence of God, His Glory should be in the room like it was in 2 Chronicles 5:13, 14,where the Cloud of Glory filled the temple. The Cloud of His Glory is the knowledge of God, His word revealed to us and through us as we respond to His voice in worship.
In the old testament they had to go through the priest to experience God, to hear from Him or make sacrifices. Now, because God has always wanted to have fellowship with His creation, He is calling us back to the garden like when Adam walked with God. That is what Jesus came to do, to restore our fellowship with God. Moses had to meet God on the mountain side. He had such a great experience with God the people could not even look at him. He had to put a veil over his face because the light shown so bright through him. When Christ let out His last scream on the cross it ripped the veil in the temple. They say it was two inches thick that same veil represents sin the very thing that would keep the priest out if they where not prepared to enter in. With that very cry, He saw us! He destroyed the wall of separation between us and God. He said come in I desire to be with you in the sweet fellowship of communion like we had in the garden before sin entered in. 2 Corinthians 2 and 3 talks about that veil. It says that it is on our hearts and minds when we don’t believe. It is my understanding that it is also saying when we read the Word, if we lack understanding we must turn to the Lord, and He will, by His Spirit, reveal Himself and Truth to us. The Truth, God’s Word is to us the knowledge of God. He visits us in our understanding and personal revelation of Gods word.
Colossians 3:4 says, ” When Christ who is our life appears, then we will appear with Him in Glory.” How does He appear? It say’s in our life! If He is our life then when we show up in faith, He shows up with us in all His Glory! How does this happen? If we read further on it says by putting off our old man, our former thinking and life styles, and put on the new man in Verse 10, ” and have put on the new man (Christ) who is renewed in the knowledge according to the image of Him (God) who created Him (us)”
Jesus had this set up the whole time, in His plan, that we could take on His identity. He even prayed for us in John 17:20, 21, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their word;that they all may be one in US, that the world may believe that You sent me.”
It’s our prayer at In Glory that you know who you are designed to be, in oneness with God through Christ. We want you to be empowered and equipped to stand in your place as a Son and Daughter of God. Don’t let fear, Doubt, or past failures hold you back from becoming who God made you to be. God Bless

Colossians 3:4 & 10
John 14:12, 19-21 / 15:4,5 / 17:22
There have been times when I needed directions to get to a destination. In the times before google maps and GPS you would have to rely on people to give you directions. I didn’t have time for an opinion on how to get from point A to point B. I had somewhere to be and only had a certain time to get there. If I stop and ask directions from some-one and they tell me how they feel about how to get somewhere, I’m likely to get really lost. I need the facts of how to get to where I’m going. Tell me the truth! Everyone has heard the old adage that it is always better to tell the truth. The idea is that being truthful is better even in the face of consequences. This is a struggle every parent goes through when trying to teach that concept to children. The threat of getting in trouble for eating all the cookies in the jar is often all we need to be motivated to tell a lie. Incidentally, you don’t have to teach a person to lie. Kids will automatically do so if they know they could get into trouble for telling the truth. The fear is understandable. And it is a feeling that even lives on in adults. How many times have you seen the TV show “COPS” when they pull over someone, get them out of the car, and ask him or her if they had any drugs on them. They almost always lie, and then when caught they use the same excuse….”It’s not mine!!” Or “I don’t know how that got there officer!” Just give me the truth!!
Every society in history values the truth. In all areas of life we seek after firm foundations that we can build ourselves on and truth sets those foundations in stone. The problem with our society is that the word “truth” is no longer used the way it was intended to be used. In practice the word and concept has nothing to do with the actual definition of it. And the question has gone from . “what is truth?” to “What is YOUR” truth. Let me explain.
The word truth is an extension of the word “True”. The definition of the word true is
: agreeing with the facts : not false
: real or genuine
: having all the expected or necessary qualities of a specifed type of Person or thing
It is a belief that is consistent with the facts. What that automatically means is that if we are describing a notion as truth than it excludes other notions that are contrary to the first notion. Let me make it plain for you. Everyone knows that the fact of gravity cannot be refuted.
If I hurl myself off of a roof..I will come crashing to the earth pretty quickly. Every time. It doesn’t matter what I believe I will do…the truth is that gravity will take over and plunge my 200 lb body down in a splat. It cannot be “my” truth to believe that I can fly like R.kelly. You cannot have two opposite truths.
You can’t even have several truths that conflict with each other. Otherwise it leaves the realm of actual truth and moves in to the confusing arena of opinions. We now live in a society where truth is relative. The phrase…”He’s living his truth..” or “that’s truth for her” is very dangerous. This gives us the idea that we can think, do , say, believe and behave any way we want to without consequence. IWhen you hear people say…well his truth is…..What they are really saying is “his” opinion and feelings are strongly held so YOU need to regard it as truth. If I as a male feel like I am a female I should be able to compete with the females and NO ONE should question why I win at almost every physical sport. You think that’s far-fetched? This nonsense has infiltrated even the Olymipics. It’s gotten into the UFC.
In more and more school districts there are “gender neutral” locker-rooms and bathrooms. Evolution is taught as truth when the theories and so called proofs are rife with out and out lies. Our world is rapidly changing for the worse. What’s right is wrong and what’s wrong is right. It’s enough to drive a rational moral person crazy! That is why your stand for Gods truth is detrimental.
Know that you are in good company though. Jesus made bold statements that HE said were truth. He didn’t allow for wiggle room on these concepts. He made it so that we have to choose to believe that what he claimed was actually true or believe he was off his rocker. Mind you, if you choose to believe that what he said is true than that automatically means that other concepts are patently false. There is no room for YOUR truth..or MY truth with God. It’s either TRUTH or not. Jesus said “I am the way, the Truth and the Light, NO MAN comes to the father except through me..” Today Jesus would be called a racist, islamophobic, homophobic, xenophobic phobophobic intolerant bigot for a statement like that. If you dare to stand and say something is right and something is wrong than you run the risk of being called horrible names and persecuted in some-way. Just accept it.
How a person feels is now accepted as truth. Feelings are king now. Feelings usurp fact or logic at every turn. It is a recipe for chaos. A woman who feels like she is another ethic group and lives like she should be addressed according to how she FEELS was throughout the headlines. A man who feels like he is a woman should now be addressed as a “she” and you are made out to be evil if you call her a him…..because he is a HIM. Its insane!
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, than you are required to proclaim what Jesus spoke as the immoveable truth. And by the way, that truth is not all a bed of roses and dandelions. The truth hurts. It sets a standard for us to ponder and ultimate decide for or against. The truth creates accountability and allows for us to be trustworthy. The truth keeps us solidly planted on concrete allowing us to withstand all the perversions of the truth. Another way to say it is that truth is like a landmark that travelers can count on to get to their destination if they do not have a map.
But how do we know what the truth is?? How can we as Christians tell others what truth is and we aren’t even sure of it ourselves. You can either take Christ at his word and follow Him and study to sincerely compare what is taught in the scriptures to see if this book can be trusted to hang your life’s truths on. Or you can fall for the lie that truth is a fluid relative thing. God is choosing you and I to be the standard by which the world should navigate. Our landmarks cannot move. The lost are counting on us to be mile markers and vantage point to lead them to a God that they don’t even realize they are looking for. Find out what God says about whatever subject that begs an opinion and embody THAT truth. Although you may be mocked for it initially…those who are truly seeking answers will eventually seek you out. The unsatisfying boneless, formless, nebulous mush of relative truth cannot be relied upon. But the truth of the gospel has always and will always set men free and safely get them home.
